Valveの『Half-Life 2』やArkane Studiosの『Dishonored』でアートディレクターを務めたアーティストViktor Antonov氏（52歳）が亡くなったことが明らかとなりました。
この訃報は元ValveのライターMarc Laidlaw氏のInstagramアカウントで伝えられたとのことで、同氏は「今日、『Half-Life 2』の先見的なアートリードであったViktor Antonovが亡くなったことを知った。詳細はわからないが、ただただ悲しい。彼は素晴らしく独創的ですべてをより良くしました」と語りました。
その他、元ベセスダのマーケティング責任者Pete Hines氏やArkane Studiosの創設者Raphaël Colantonio氏、『Dishonored』のクリエイティブディレクターHarvey Smith氏らもソーシャルメディアを通してViktor Antonov氏への追悼メッセージを送っています。
