一般ユーザーが選出する部門「The Audience Award」は2月にオンライン投票の受付が始まります。最終的な受賞作品は3月2日から3月6日にかけてサンフランシスコで開催されるGame Developers Conferenceの中で発表予定（3月4日）。なお、同イベントでは前述の各部門受賞作品の他、業界への貢献者に贈られる3つの特別賞（Pioneer、Ambassador、Lifetime Achievement）も発表されます。
